Last week, actor and comedian Kevin Hart was forced to step down from hosting the Oscars, another one of the awards shows that so many Americans have grown to hate because of all the political virtue signaling and social justice warrioring (yes, I just made that word up) that goes on instead of actually giving awards to movies and actors that people care about.

So why was Kevin Hart forced to step down from hosting, you might ask? Well, a tweet was dug up from about 8 years ago that was clearly homophobic and offensive to the LGBT community. These tweets are so terrible I think he should go to prison for life over them. Are you ready for this? He basically said that he doesn’t want his son to be gay and if he can, he will prevent it from happening.

To be quite frank with you, I see nothing homophobic or offensive about Hart’s comments. I mean, isn’t it a parent’s job to want what they think is best for their kids? That’s literally the job of the parent because let’s be honest, kids are stupid and don’t know what they’re doing. They need help. They need guidance in life. And as someone who strongly disagrees with homophobia on a moral level, I completely with Kevin Hart! What benefit is there in being gay other than selfishness? Let me explain what I mean by that.

I believe that marriage is an institution given to us by God in order to give us a glimpse of what the relationship between Christ and the Church is like. Marriage ought to be between one man and one woman. Not two women, not two men, no other exceptions. One man, one woman. Why should marriage be between one man and one woman? In the Bible, way back in Genesis 2, God created a man, Adam, to rule over everything God just created. However, God saw that Adam was lonely and needed a companion, so God created a woman to complete Adam. God created women for men, and men for women. God ordered them to reproduce and populate the earth, which they did. This leads to my next point which is that you can’t reproduce and populate the earth if you’re not a heterosexual couple. From a religious and societal standpoint, I believe that it is your moral obligation to have children (as a married couple) unless, of course, you’re physically incapable of doing so. All this goes to say that there are no moral or religious benefits of being homosexual so for everyone who pursues that kind of relationship, I think it’s out of selfishness. That was a long point to prove, but I think it was necessary.

Circling back to the main point of this post, this social media mobbing of people based on a fake, manufactured outrage needs to stop. The digging up of old tweets from years ago and pretending that it’s something terrible and offense needs to come to an end. Another thing that needs to stop is the people who are being mobbed need to stop apologizing to the mob because they will never be satisfied. They’ll just move on and find the next thing to be outraged over. I know that if I ever get into the public eye and people find old posts that “offend” them, I won’t be apologizing for them. Nonetheless, Kevin Hart gave a “sincere” apology to the mob: “I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscar’s….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.”

There’s nothing he needs to apologize for. He did nothing wrong. As I stated earlier, he’s actually 100% right about his comments 8 years ago. The same people who are outraged over Kevin Hart’s tweets are the same people who want to force your children to learn about transgenderism in kindergarten and give them freedom in choosing their own gender, not being bound by “socially constructed stereotypes.”

But Kevin Hart wasn’t the only victim of the mob. Kyler Murry, the Oklahoma quarterback who just won the Heisman Trophy, was also attacked by the mob. The same day he was announced the winner of the award, a so-called “reporter” from USA Today wrote about anti-gay tweets from when, get this, Murry was 14 years old and decided to release this to the world right after Murry won the most prized possession a college football player could have. What was this tweet? Murry apparently used the f-word that is slang for gay people. Now, don’t get me wrong, under no circumstance should that would be used but you’re going to dig it up 6 years later just because he achieved something great? How disgusting is this?

This is the game the left plays. If anyone who disagrees with them in any way and they have some kind of success like hosting the Oscar’s or winning the Heisman, they have to tear that person down because they’re not one of their own programmed robots. But if someone is one of their programmed robots and they have success, then they get a free pass even if they’ve done terrible things in the past. Take basically all of Hollywood, for example with all the stories of women being sexually abused by producers. But yet, this massive problem is pushed aside for the sake of “owning the cons.”
