Continuing through our series through Philippians at Charlestown Road Baptist Church, I cover 1:12-14 in this sermon where we see three main points:

  1. The Apostle Paul makes an extraordinary claim that the gospel has advanced specifically because of his imprisonment (v.12).
  2. One proof of this he offers is that it has become known throughout the whole imperial guard that his imprisonment is for Christ (v.13).
  3. The second proof that Paul offers is that other Christians, seeing Paul’s confidence in the gospel, are strengthed in the Lord and are much more bold to proclaim the gospel to those around them (v.14).

The message starts at the 0:35 mark.
